I'm an applied economist working in development policy, behavioral economics, and applied microeconomics. My research interests include conflict, governance, the political economy of development, causal inference, and field experiments.
I am currently a Quantitative Researcher at the Charter Cities Institute, an organization working to build effective governance in Global South cities to alleviate poverty. Before this, I worked as a Research Specialist at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, where I managed behavioral experiments on financial access, health, and conflict in East and West Africa. I also have a background in running large-scale field experiments of government programs. I received an AB in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an MPP from Georgetown University.
I grew up in the Philippines, and I have since lived in Paris, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, and Baltimore. My friends say my hobby is collecting cookbooks.
